Once again, the MOF will be doing flyovers at ALWS, and we are thrilled to be there for the fourth year! Celebrating 100 years of American Legion baseball in Shelby, NC. Catch us on ESPN3 August 14-19 performing the opening game fly-by according to the American Legion website.

We’re calling on our incredible members, local Boy Scout troops, ROTC programs, and community groups to help us bring this event to life. Volunteers are needed throughout the day to assist with guest check-in, event setup, museum tours, and hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn service hours, build leadership skills, and be part of a vibrant aviation community.

As we shared a couple of months ago, The 1944 Howard DGA15 was moved from the Stockmar Airport in Villa Rica to the Rome Hangar and now is ready to be fitted with new fabric. The restoration area is now staged for the Howard! | |
