Wings and Wheels Fly In and Car Show | |
Over Memorial Day weekend, the Wings and Wheels Day Fly In and Car Show was held at the Tom B. David Airport in Calhoun, GA. The free, family-friendly event had numerous sponsors and vendors participating. We were proud to share the Museum's T-28 with the crowds. | |

We love having visitors at the museum! Even more when they are youngsters, soaking up the history inside and the aircraft and vehicles outside in the "petting zoo". We hosted a summer camp group where they learned all sorts of facts from Gil Espy, our lead docent at the museum. | | | |

Welcome to our New Board Members | |
The Museum of Flight has added two new board members, Rich Henderson and Boyd Monk. Rich is a T-28C owner and pilot. He lives in Augusta, Georgia and owns Jani-King of Augusta. Boyd is a resident of his home-town of Dallas, Georgia. He is a local realtor at Ansley Real Estate Christie's International Real Estate. Please give them both a warm welcome. | |

We’re calling on our incredible members, local Boy Scout troops, ROTC programs, and community groups to help us bring this event to life. Volunteers are needed throughout the day to assist with guest check-in, event setup, museum tours, and hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn service hours, build leadership skills, and be part of a vibrant aviation community.
